New York District Aktion Club is working with the New York District Kiwanis Foundation, and Governor Brenda Leigh Johnson’s Governor’s Project supporting their Disaster Relief Campaigns by making Disaster Relief Kits.

When disasters hit, New York District Kiwanis mobilizes, bringing supplies to affected areas.

Our Aktion Club Disaster Relief Kits contain nine essential items to get disaster victims through their immediate needs:  Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Razor, Soap, Shampoo, Plastic Bandages, Hand Sanitizer, Tissues, and a Comb.

This project is easy to organize:   (see links below)

1. 1.Get supplies.  A supply list is provided.  Everything can be purchased at Dollar Tree.
   

2. 2.Pack the Bags. Put the 9 items into a large zip lock bag.  (click to see example project)
   

3. 3.Apply Stickers.  We will happily send you 4x6 labels, at your request, or you can print out your own labels from the template you can download here.
   

We will collect the Disaster Relief Kits at the 2021 Midwinter Kiwanis Convention in February 2021.
